The Daily Dose with Dr. Daryl L. Williams

A Word every day to get you on your way!

Here is the Daily Dose for Thursday, June 6, 2019.

Everything has already been decided. It was known long ago what each person would be. So there is no use arguing with God about your destiny. Ecclesiastes 6:10

Trust The Process

Sometimes a bad day will make you want to give up. A bad week will make you want to stop getting up. A bad month will make you want to throw up. A bad year will completely tear you up. The only problem is that a day, a week, a month or even a year are just small parts of your story. They are snapshots of time that may be out of alignment, out of focus and may even drive us out of our minds, but we must always remember that they are just a moment in the story, not the entire story.

When you are having a bad season, always remember that God is working out the whole story and this is just part of it. God sees the glitches, the problems, and the issues, but he also sees where the story goes from here. God sees what is around the corner, over the bend, and down the road. In short, God simply knows what happens after this season because He is working on a plan that lays out the full story. In the full story, you will see that there were up days and downs days, good seasons and tough seasons, but they all worked together to bring you to the conclusion that God had planned from the very beginning.

Friends, God has it worked out. There is nothing that a bad day, a bad break or even a bad person can do to steal your destiny. God has laid out a plan that will have ups and downs, twists and turns, but will always end up towards your good. On bad days, take heart, God has written a story for you that can’t be altered, won’t be deterred and certainly will come to its expected end. So be brave, be bold, and stay strong, your destiny is secure and it will happen for you.

Be Blessed,

Rev
